Privacy Policy
Multibrain Network, Inc.
Last updated
Multibrain Network, Inc. (“Multibrain,” “we,” “us”) runs multibrain.net, including the Brainstorm AI Opportunity Audit. This Policy covers this site only: what we collect when you visit, use the contact form, join our newsletter or run a Brainstorm audit, why we collect it, who we share it with and what choices you have.
Who is responsible
Multibrain is the controller of the personal information described in this Policy. We are located at:
Multibrain Network, Inc.
6278 N Federal Hwy, Suite 59
Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308
Our Data Protection Officer is Chris Sternal-Johnson, reachable at chris.privacy@multibrain.net or at the postal address above.
What we collect and why
Visiting the site
We collect log data – your IP address, browser, the pages you request and the time of your visit – and keep it for six months. Every request to the site passes through Cloudflare. We also use Google Analytics; see “Cookies” below.
Sending the contact form
We collect the name, email address and message you enter, along with your IP address and browser details for spam and abuse checks. We store your submission and email it to our team. If you tick the optional newsletter box, we also send your email address to Mailchimp.
Joining the newsletter
We send only your email address to Mailchimp. Mailchimp sends you a confirmation email before you are subscribed, and every newsletter we send includes an unsubscribe link.
Running a Brainstorm audit
Brainstorm is a free tool on this site that produces an AI-generated opportunity audit from a business website URL or a written description you submit. If you use Brainstorm, we collect the website URL or description you provide, any answers you give during the audit’s interview questions, and, if you request a copy of your results or ask us to review your audit with you, your name and email address (and, for a copy of your results, your role).
To generate an audit, this information is sent to Anthropic’s Claude model, hosted through Amazon Bedrock, for processing. Amazon retains the audit’s prompts and responses for up to 30 days for automated safety and abuse monitoring, and flagged content may be reviewed for that purpose. Beyond that, this data is handled under Amazon’s and Anthropic’s published terms for Amazon Bedrock: Amazon Bedrock data retention and Anthropic’s terms for Claude on Amazon Bedrock. We keep your audit for six months after your last activity on it. If you asked for your results, an Executive Audit or a review, we keep it for two years after that request so we can follow up. Your IP address and browser details are removed after six months either way. You can ask us to delete your audit sooner using the contact information in this Policy.
To produce your audit, Brainstorm reads the public pages of the website you name. Your audit is kept at a private link; anyone you share that link with can open it. If you tick the follow-up box, we may contact you about your findings, but we do not add you to the newsletter unless you separately ask – and we store your IP address and browser details for abuse checks the same way the contact form does.
Cookies
Required cookies
These cookies are necessary for the site to work and cannot be turned off. The site itself sets a session cookie to keep your visit working from page to page, and a matching security token to protect forms against cross-site request forgery. Cloudflare sets a security cookie when you first visit, used only to tell people from automated traffic. Where we ask about analytics cookies, a cookie remembers your answer for six months. Our forms’ spam check may store a small amount of similar data in your browser for the same purpose.
Analytics cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site – which pages are viewed, how long visitors stay and how they arrived. Google processes this information under its own privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. If you visit from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we ask before setting analytics cookies. Until you allow them, Google Analytics sets no cookies and receives only cookieless signals: the address of the page you are viewing and the page that led you there, your browser type and screen size, and your IP address, which Google uses to work out your country and says it does not store. Google uses these signals to estimate overall visit numbers; they are not used to recognise you on a later visit. Once you allow analytics cookies, Google Analytics runs in full. Elsewhere, Google Analytics runs by default. You can allow or decline analytics cookies at any time: . You can also opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or block cookies generally through your browser’s privacy settings. Where we ask first, we rely on your consent for analytics cookies. For the cookieless signals, and for analytics elsewhere, we rely on our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the site. We do not respond to Do Not Track signals.
Legal bases for processing (GDPR)
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): running and securing the site, including logs, Cloudflare, our spam checks and Sentry error monitoring, the cookieless analytics signals described under “Analytics cookies”, and analytics for visitors outside the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom.
- Steps you ask us to take (Art. 6(1)(b)): answering your contact form message, producing your Brainstorm audit, and sending your results or arranging a review.
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): analytics cookies where we ask first, the newsletter and following up about your audit findings. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)): where the law requires us to process or disclose information.
Who receives your data
We use the following vendors to run the site and Brainstorm:
- Laravel Cloud (Laravel Holdings Inc.) – hosts the site. Privacy Policy: https://laravel.com/legal/privacy
- Amazon Web Services, Inc. – delivers our emails (Amazon SES) and runs the AI processing behind Brainstorm (Amazon Bedrock). Privacy Policy: https://aws.amazon.com/privacy/
- Anthropic, PBC – provides the Claude model that Brainstorm runs on Amazon Bedrock; see “Running a Brainstorm audit” above for how that data is handled. Terms: https://aws.amazon.com/legal/bedrock/third-party-models/
- Cloudflare for delivering the site and for spam prevention on our forms – (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) Privacy Policy: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/; Turnstile Privacy Addendum: https://www.cloudflare.com/turnstile-privacy-policy/. Every request to the site passes through Cloudflare’s network, so Cloudflare receives your IP address, browser details and the address of the page you requested. Our forms’ spam check (Turnstile) also loads from Cloudflare whenever you open a page that carries a protected form, and when you send us a form we pass your IP address to Cloudflare together with the check’s result to confirm it. The fields you entered are not shared with Cloudflare.
- Google LLC – runs Google Analytics and our company email (Google Workspace). Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- Mailchimp (The Rocket Science Group LLC, an Intuit company) – sends our newsletter. Privacy Policy: https://www.intuit.com/privacy/statement/
- Sentry for error and log monitoring on the site – (Functional Software, Inc. d/b/a Sentry, 45 Fremont Street, 8th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA) Privacy Policy: https://sentry.io/privacy/. Sentry receives our error reports and application logs, which can include information you had just entered into a form when an error occurred.
- Slack (Slack Technologies, LLC) – how we talk with visitors and clients. Privacy Policy: https://slack.com/trust/privacy/privacy-policy
We do not sell your personal information.
We may disclose your information when the law requires it, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of the business.
International transfers
Your data is processed in the United States. We do not maintain a certification of our own for international transfers; instead, we rely on each vendor’s own certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (including its UK and Swiss extensions) or on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses in that vendor’s terms.
How long we keep it
- Log data: six months.
- Contact-form messages: until you ask us to delete them.
- Brainstorm audits: six months after your last activity, or two years after you ask for your results, an Executive Audit or a review. The audit’s IP address and browser details: six months.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe; Mailchimp keeps the mailing list.
A copy of error reports and application logs is also held by Sentry under Sentry’s own retention period.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal information, to object to our processing of it, to withdraw consent you previously gave, and to complain to a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact our Data Protection Officer at chris.privacy@multibrain.net or at the postal address above.
California
We do not sell personal information. California Civil Code Section 1798.83 (the “Shine the Light” law) lets California residents ask us, once a year and free of charge, what categories of personal information we disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes in the prior calendar year, and to whom. To make such a request, contact us using the details above.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will remove it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including HTTPS, to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post any changes here and move the “Last updated” date above.
